Flagship course
Invoice Exception Audit Mastery
Six weeks of structured practice for auditors and AP specialists who run a financial auditing app for invoice exception analysis day to day.
What you will leave able to do
-
Classify exceptions without debate
Apply a shared taxonomy for quantity, price, tax, vendor identity, and timing mismatches.
-
Assemble an evidence pack
Attach PO lines, goods receipts, and email threads so a second reviewer can reconstruct your decision.
-
Close with durable language
Write accept, reject, and hold notes that still make sense six months later in an internal review.
Modules
Week-by-week arc
-
Queue anatomy
Map aging buckets, ownership, and the difference between system-flagged and human-escalated exceptions.
-
Match failures that look identical
Separate unit-of-measure errors from freight add-ons and partial deliveries that share the same red status.
-
Tax and currency edge cases
Work Korea-relevant VAT examples alongside FX rounding that apps often mislabel as “price mismatch.”
-
Vendor dialogue scripts
Request missing documents without escalating tone; log replies inside the auditing workspace.
-
Exception Desk rituals
Daily triage, weekly aging review, and monthly leak checks for duplicates that slipped through.
-
Capstone case file
Resolve a multi-invoice dispute packet and present your close-out to a peer reviewer.

“Module five’s aging ritual is now our Monday standing agenda. The capstone packet felt closer to our real vendors than most trainings.”

“I wanted more live ERP demos; we mostly used exported exception screens. The documentation habits still stuck.”

FAQ
Before you request a seat
Do I need a specific auditing app license?
No. We teach decision patterns that transfer across tools. Screenshots use a generic exception workspace layout so concepts stay portable.
Is this suitable for junior AP staff?
Yes if they already post invoices. Absolute beginners in accounting basics will find week three dense; we recommend pairing juniors with a mentor.
What is a real limitation of this course?
We do not provide live access to your production ERP or configure connectors. If your backlog is blocked by system permissions, this curriculum will not unblock IT work.
How is pricing handled?
Prices shown are informational only. There is no payment or checkout on Automationwebapp. Contact us to discuss invoices and seating.
